Getting Out of Our Comfort Zone!
I don’t know about you, but I have a comfort zone that I like staying in. I am a type A personality so obviously I like to be in control! I like to have everything on a schedule.

Some weeks are just more busy than others. If you are having one of “those” weeks, I hope this post will encourage you.
July is National Picnic Month which celebrates the history of this activity and the way it has been used to bring families, friends, communities, and countries together. To celebrate this we decided to take a day to go canoeing on the Mississippi River and stop somewhere along the way to have a picnic lunch. After all, the definition of picnic is an excursion at which a meal is eaten outdoors, ideally taking place in a scenic landscape such as a park, beside a lake or with an interesting view. So off we go on our adventure.
